I think of every massage as a partnership in
wellness and awareness.
Our bodies and minds are masterful in
coping with stress, pain and tension.
|
I use an integrated approach that
addresses the primary cause of pain, but also the
coping patterns that can interfere with healing.
My goal is that you continue to experience
the benefits and awareness long after the massage
has ended.
Growing up as a competitive
gymnast, I pushed my body to extreme physical limits.
Later, when I studied martial arts, I
experienced the direct impact the mind has on the
physical body.
Stress literally slows us down.
Through therapeutic massage and the power of
touch, I have discovered a whole new fascination with
body awareness and holistic approaches to healing.
I graduated from Arizona State
University with a B.A. in English. Before enrolling in
massage school, my employment background was in social
services and non-profits, which included a three year
adventure in Prague.
I live in West Seattle with my
amazing daughter and wonderdog.
