AMTA Washington Chapter

Josie Ives, LMP

Josie Ives, LMP

Since graduating from Brian Utting School of Massage in 2004, I have been working as a full time LMP. In that time, I have worked in many different settings, from chiropractic clinics to private practice, but M3 Bodyworks has been my home since 2006. I am now fairly immersed in the massage profession, having served as editor of the Journal of the American Massage Therapy Association Washington Chapter for several years.

Massage therapy has been a powerful force in my life, and I have been fortunate enough to experience the positive changes in my clients’ lives as well. I believe that regular massage can lead to a healthier, fuller existence. I try to function not only as your therapist, but as an advocate for your wellness.

I strive to create the best possible massage experience, whether you are seeking relaxation or rehabilitation of injury. My specialty has been injury treatment in the past, but I also enjoy working with expectant mothers and those training for athletic events.

Hobbies include distance running, cooking, reading and writing.
