Selena Hayes, LMP

I am a second generation
massage therapist who graduated from Brenneke
in 2005. I enjoy providing an atmosphere
where people can feel calm, relaxed and
happily focused on their general well being.
Whether my clients are there for a treatment
or just taking a well deserved break, my hope
is that they will walk back into the world
feeling rejuvenated.

Until recently, I spent 12
years working within Seattle’s industrial community.
Part of my choice to become a LMP was due to our
machinists and welders. One gains a lot of empathy
watching those who stand, reach, and lift heavy
items up to 12 hours a day six to seven days a week.
I don’t think a day went by after my training where
I wasn’t asked advice on how to deal with aches and
pains. Ice, a tennis ball, yoga stretches,
and, of course, massage.
